Do you know where you’re going?
It may not seem to matter, as long as you keep moving, you’ll eventually get somewhere. There’s a saying: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” One foot in front of the other—that’s progress.

But here’s the real question: If you don’t know your destination, how will you recognize when you’ve arrived?
Those who have clarity, those who know where they are headed, are the ones who reach their destination. Some may have knowledge, but without intention and a strategic approach, they still end up lost—struggling through life. In all that you get, get understanding.

Understand how people think. Understand how they feel. Position your ideas in a way that convinces them they stand to benefit.

The truth is, not everyone wants to see you succeed. Some will go to great lengths—even spending their fortunes—to bring you down.
At first, they’ll laugh at your idea.
If you persist, they’ll try to talk you out of it.
Push forward, and they’ll mock you.
Keep going, and they’ll conspire against you.
Stand firm in your belief, and they’ll seek to sabotage your hard work.

This isn’t new, yet people still act surprised when it happens.

Disappointment is woven into life.
As a child, you learned it early—when Mom and Dad promised to take you to the park but canceled last minute.
Your siblings betrayed your trust, telling on you.
A friend exposed what you shared in confidence.

And still, you didn’t understand.

It is written:
“Cursed is the man who trusts in man,
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the LORD.
For he shall be like a shrub in the desert,
And shall not see when good comes,
But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
In a salt land which is not inhabited.”

Think back to when someone you loved broke your heart.
The pain was so deep, you wanted to be alone—a parched place in the wilderness.
If a good person stood before you at that moment, you wouldn’t have recognized them—and shall not see when good comes.

I often hear people say, “I did good to you, and you repaid me with evil.”
Here’s the hard truth: That person would have received the same treatment had they trusted someone else. The problem isn’t just them—it’s the expectation.

You weren’t meant to put yourself in that position in the first place.
When you do good, don’t seek repayment from people. Guard your heart.

It is written:
“I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore, be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”
